I don’t know if it has been a good idea to forfait the surgery but for sure it would have been horrible with the way they treat me here! Let me explain with an example: after taking out the tube I had to take a shower (they didn’t let me 2 days ago) and the expert told the nurse to let me go and change the dressing after ward because it would get wet for sure! ...Well, I pressed the buzzer and explained that the dressing was “gone”, I asked the guards and the nurses, before lunch during and after, I only got a new dressing now that is almost dinner but there’s even more: I realised that they forgot one stitch and the nurse couldn’t find the surgical scissor so she told me she'll take it off later… ...During a brief chat with a guard, today, one that has been left curious by my web site, she inadvertently admitted that she checked my charges (and they should never do it) and that she considered me a “pig”, obviously before reading more about me! This is what sometimes I try to explain to everybody, this for me is not simply “prison”: the guards here are trained to make people suffer, not to “correct and rehabilitate” the more when it comes to vicious criminals like rapists or child molesters, exactly like me. I will try to write down the details of this little “chat” to Katia to see if it may help to let people finally understand the situation in which I am, and may be also help to push for some kind of solution to get me transferred to a decent place or at least to let “politically” know to these torturers that I am innocent!!! ...I’ll write you as soon as I can (if they give me the envelops I had left in Ventura) and you, please, do the same and send me some paper, envelopes and stamps. He explained me that the other time they took 2 samples but because of the results he is convinced they missed the spot. He affirms that it is absolutely important to know what we are dealing with and comforted me by telling me he has a 95% success rate in this biopsies. He has taken the sample from the front this time (on the pectoral, I was so scared) and has immediately commented that he was sure he got the nodule. Let’s hope well and let’s hope the warm feeling he gave me is not just an impression. Now we have to wait for the result but I hope that in the meanwhile Katia and Enrica will let a doctor see my descriptions and my records form the hospital so he‘ll be ready to help me with a decision… Ask Katia to try and figure out how I can rely the results of this biopsy and get a decision from her and the doctor quickly without having the guys here loose their patience! ... I am at the Mercy Hospital here in Bakersfield, chained to a bed in an isolation room and I need you to call Katia and the consulate to let them know what is going on.

 Please do it soon because I am going to write a letter also to Katia but I am not sure if metered letter will make it to Italy and no matter what it will take one week at least! ... Yesterday (Wednesday 10 tm) Ventura decided to ship me to Wasco with a mask, on a normal transport instead of letting me have the 2 nd spit test (of the 3 I was supposed to get) to rule out tbc.

 Wasco did another X-ray and showed me a spot on top of the right lung that caused the scare for tbc (Ventura did the X-ray to check if I really needed the Abuterol that they took away from me) and sent me here at Mercy hospital.

 Yesterday I did X-ray; CAT scan with dye and spit test and this morning the doctor told me that probably it’s not tbc but they need to check the spot with a biopsy.

... I’m here waiting for a biopsy to tell me if I have lung cancer and I‘m kept chained to the bed by both feet and without even the comfort of family and friends :(

... I don’t know if you can get in touch with me writing here and by then I may be back to Wasco.

... I’ll keep waiting and hoping to ear from somebody, especially because I am dying to know something about the FBI investigations and the press conference next week…

 When they tell me the results of the biopsy I‘ll try and write again (assuming I got the address right – they stripped me of every thing including your address, again) :(
