Dear sweet Valerie,
Friday they made me pack my few stuff so I guess I should be leaving tomorrow for Avenal.
I waited 'till today to write you since mail does not go out until tomorrow no matter what.
I was also hoping for a visit today, mostly to hear you say that you got the new job and that everything is ok with the house, but I guess you couldn't make it :(
I'm still praying for you and I wish you'll let me know soon how things are going...
I was also hoping to hear something from you about the resentencing on Wednesday because I have no news, although I'm pretty sure that the judge comfirmed my 9 years as I also wrote to Enrica at the consulate!
e is the one who got Bamieh to tell me "shut the website down and you'll get minimum sentence". He is probably the one that got the court stenographer to threaten Katia with a lawsuit to shut the same site down and he is also the one that justified giving me 9 years "because she lied yes", but he was sure that she was suffering still for my savage beating although there are no medical evidences about it: what do you want to expect from such a brilliant example of judicial mafia?
I am afraid, as I kept saying for 4 years, that my nightmare will end only with a scandal and with the intervention of an outisde police agency, somebody clean and not involved with the Ventura mafia!
I'm going to write a page also for Katia although I don't know if everything is ok with you and you'll be able to forward id to her; if you can forward it please do the same with this letter in english so they have some more material to post on the .com site!
I think I told you that they have increased the activity in foreign languages (not onli english but also German, French and even Spanish!) and they have also opened a blog in english!
Washington Post should publish an editorial now that the sentence is out, so should Neil (the UK journalist) and Valentina is also working on the Ventura County Star!
If things are going fine with you please try to help them because the media are my only hope to survive.
I'll try to call by phone as soon as I can and in the meanwhile I'l think about you: be strong :)
